HOW DO I QUALIFY?


To ensure we provide the best customer service, all service providers interested in participating in Oncor Energy Efficiency programs must meet our list of qualifications. See below for specific requirements for your provider type. All applicants will also need to include the following:

  • Capabilities – A brief statement of your technical and managerial capabilities, and experience implementing energy efficiency projects
  • Licenses* – Evidence that you, and any subcontractors, possess all applicable licenses and permits (e.g. list of applicable licenses, license holders, license numbers)
  • References – Two recent client/customer references for projects similar to the project(s) you select in your application (include contact name, address, and phone number)
  • Company Background and Capability - Company description, years in business, number of employees and approximate annual revenues
  • Legal – Disclosure of any pending legal judgments, from the past two years, as well as a current list of pending litigation
  • Finances and Credit Rating – Evidence of financial stability including current credit rating

RESIDENTIAL PROVIDERS


Service providers that install eligible energy efficiency measures at a customer site within the Oncor service territory (e.g. single-family, multi-family, and manufactured home units) are eligible to participate in our residential programs.

 

Eligible residential providers include:

  • National or local energy service companies
  • Retail electric providers
  • Nonprofit organizations or community action agencies
  • National or local companies that provide energy-related services (e.g. contracting) or product (e.g. weatherization, insulation, lighting and HVAC equipment)

COMMERCIAL PROVIDERS


Service providers that install eligible energy efficiency measures at a facility within the Oncor service territory are eligible to participate in our commercial programs.

Eligible commercial providers include:

  • National or local energy service companies
  • Retail electric providers
  • Nonprofit organizations or community action agencies
  • National or local companies that provide energy-related services (e.g. contracting) or product (e.g. weatherization, insulation, lighting and HVAC equipment)
